Angie's photography

I really enjoy this project as I can get a chance to work with my classmates. Four of us Colton, May ,Lucas and me decided to work together. We had so much fun as we can try on different costumes and act different roles .  For my project, I have to act like the one who abuse others, with complecated emotions. I have to put scars and blood make up on May as well. These are the new experiences for me. We tried several shots and made some changes. Eventually I can get what I want after few attempts. I was the photographer for Lucas's photo. Although Lucas had already set up the lighting and the camera setting, I am the one who have to discover actors position and tell them to move in a suitable place.  I have learnt a lot in this project as I tried to compose my photo, be an actor, be a photographer and be a make up artist.

Starting my final project, an idea of taking of people smoking popped out of my mind. I really want to create something moody, cinematic and cool. Thus, i have an idea of create a sequence of whole process of people smoking.  Apart from that, it is also really matter to me. After I came to Canada, I am staying apart from my friends. Sometimes I would memorise they were talking with me while they were smoking. At that moment, I feel like we become closer as they can talk something different when they are smoking. They talked more deeply , something that is really private. Meanwhile, I have found that they became more attractive to me . They become stunning as I found that I am trustworthy to them. I am a person that is matter to them. As a result, I really want to capture that moment from my own perspective. I started to do some research on how to take a photo of smoking.
